Privacy Policy
Because we run on Cash on Delivery, we don't handle card numbers or run an online payment gateway at all. That alone keeps what we collect a lot shorter than a typical store's policy. Here's the rest of it.
What We Collect
When you order or reach out to us, you're giving us things like:
- Your name, phone number, and delivery address
- Email, if you choose to give it to us
- Whatever you tell us in a contact form or warranty request: the games you play, your monitor, an order number, a description of a problem
Separately, like most websites, ours picks up some basic technical information automatically as you browse: your general location based on IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you visited. Nothing about that is tied to your name unless you've also placed an order.
Why We Collect It
Plainly: to build and deliver your order, answer your questions, and honor the warranty. That covers things like:
- Confirming your build and address on the phone before we start assembling
- Coordinating delivery with the courier
- Helping you troubleshoot or process a warranty claim
- Understanding which pages on the site are actually useful, so we can improve them
We don't use it to build an advertising profile on you, and we're not selling it to anyone.
How Long We Keep It
Order details stick around for as long as your warranty is active, plus whatever basic accounting record-keeping requires. A one-off contact form message that never turns into an order doesn't need to be kept nearly that long, and we don't hang onto it indefinitely.
Keeping It Secure
We take reasonable steps to keep your information from ending up somewhere it shouldn't, limiting who can access it and how it's stored. No website can promise perfect security, but not running card payments through our own systems already removes one of the biggest risks other stores carry.
Your Choices
Want to know what we have on file, have it corrected, or have it deleted once there's no active order or warranty tied to it? Email us and we'll sort it out. We're not going to make that harder than it needs to be.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page with a new date. Checking back occasionally is the best way to stay current; we won't bury a change somewhere you'd never see it.
